Frances Mary Camera (nee Donato), age 90, formerly of Brooklyn, passed away on August 6, 2017 at Staten Island University Hospital North. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Camera (2007); loving mother of Andrew Camera and his wife, Xiomara, Victoria L. Geronimo and her husband, Bob, and Linda DeLavan and her husband, Peter; cherished grandmother of Christopher Camera, Caren Camera, Robert Geronimo, Michael DeLavan, Danielle DeLavan, Andrew Camera, and Sarah Camera; fond great-grandmother of Michelle Camera. She was predeceased by her 6 siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Frances was born on February 26, 1927, in Brooklyn, NY. She was an alumna of Lincoln High School. She was employed for many years in the banking industry as a teller at Bank of Commerce in NYC. In 1988 she and her husband relocated to Staten Island, settling in New Springville. Some of her hobbies included watching “old movies” (TCM Channel and AMC Channels were her favorite, enjoying her second home in the Poconos, cooking, baking. Frances loved to entertain large amounts of people during the holidays, especially Christmas. She adored her loving family, especially her grandchildren.
